1. ReadyBoost: Simply by plugging in a high speed USB flash drive into a USB 2.0 port , the ReadyBoost feature becomes available. What is it? ReadyBoost is a fast cache for frequently accessed data that uses the USB flash drive instead of the slower hard drive. This enhances system performance and results in a noticeable performance gain. When to use it? You'll see the greatest gain if you're manipulating a large spread sheet or large photographic image.
