Display Technologies, College Point, NY Information Technology Manager Reduced voice and data communication costs more than 50% annually through research, selection and implementation of new technologies and contract negotiation with vendors.
Implemented a secure corporate Internet E-mail system. Selected, trained and supervised the startup IT support staff. Evaluated and selected company computers, peripherals, network hardware, Docu-centers and software. Saved the company over 60% in printing costs by shifting production printing to less costly methods while maintaining high standards.

21st Century Computer Solutions, Lebanon, NH CEO/Owner Managed a small retail computer store providing sales and support to end users in the local community. Set up and configured Cisco routers using RIP and BGP4. Performed contract work for MPL Systems in Totawa, New Jersey primarily configuring Cisco routers for clients such as the UN, FSI Web, Summit Bank and others. Instructed the first course in Windows 95 at Lebanon College. Made component level repairs to computer systems, monitors and printers. Local clients included Dartmouth College, Vermont Law School, Lebanon College, Hanover Inn, Whitman Press, Veterans Administration and hundreds of individuals and
small businesses while competing against large national chains. August 1973 - March 1995
US Navy Senior Chief Submarine Sonar Technician Received Navy Commendation Medal for saving over $500,000.00 in the design, prototyping and installation of a Novell based Campus Area Network at Naval Submarine School, Groton, Connecticut. Held assignments at various submarine and training commands, supervising from eight to 79 military and civilian employees in the operation and repair of complex electronic data collection equipment and training.
